Did you know that according to Remodeling magazine, a major kitchen renovation can result in a return on investment of between 61 and 70 percent of the cost.
A kitchen should last for 20 years or more so choose cabinets you love, and a layout that works for your family’s lifestyle for years. When remodeling a kitchen, think function, efficiency, style and longevity.
I truly believe that Kitchens are the counterpoint of all homes, therefore I always do my best to customize the kitchen to give it a WOW FACTOR that you desire!!
In order to achieve the WOW kitchen you need to do a careful planning. through the steps below:
1. Why Before you dive in, better to first answer these questions
- Why are you wanting to do a Kitchen Renovation?
- Is it for improvement in it`s functionality or is it’s style outdated?
- Is your existing kitchen falling apart due to poor quality or age?
- Are you looking at increasing the value of your property by adding a new Kitchen.
From my experience it`s usually all three! The answers to these questions will determine the type of Kitchen Renovation you will want and offer a starting point to get things underway, then better go through the first questionnaire test which will help you assess the activities that take place in your kitchen and how the room is stacking up to your needs.
2. Your Goal After that, you should think about what you want and need from a kitchen remodel and fill out the Kitchen Goals Worksheet. You’ll use these exercises to create a road-map to a successful kitchen renovation.
3. Budget Then you should figure out an estimate of the budget you want to lay on this remodeling. In order to not miss any details you can download this form
4. Choose a professional, now if you have followed me to this point, I'm the one who can guide you through the design process on a professional way
Below I'll guide you through the process we are going to redesign your kitchen 1. I'll ask you to do a DIY site survey with a rough hand sketch showing the existing floor plan of your existing kitchen, and send that to me along with some pictures from different angles of your kitchen 2. While I'm creating the drawing of your existing kitchen in AutoCAD I'll share you my idea book for best kitchen design collection so you can survey and select those style and samples that you like or create your own idea book. Here is my idea book in Houzz
3. Now we start by brainstorming ideas and I'll ask you questions about color you like, theme, style, space saving solutions and ... I'll listen to all your ideas and then I'll start to design a layout plan and create a kind of mood board for your new kitchen Below is 3 kind of samples for your reference

4. We do some back and forth till I make sure you get happy with the design. If you had difficult to imagine how your kitchen will look in reality, I can also create a realistic 3 D render for you like this

5. Finally when are happy with the design I can create a technical drawing for you so you can submit it or give it to any kitchen builder or contractor and ask them to proceed as per the drawing or quote you the projects cost * last if you are in London, I have a good partner Paul who I have done many projects with and I can ensure you that he will build your kitchen exactly as per the design we have agreed on.
Just because you're going to have a new kitchen doesn't mean you'll morph into a hyper-organized version of yourself. "We have to design for real life, not fantasy," says Peacock. "We're creatures of habit, and a renovation isn't going to alter those habits."
Good Luck
